ATOMIC CREATES TESTING TRIP TO SNOWBOARDING CAPITAL

Leading snow sport brand Atomic has teamed up with one of its top riders to create the perfect holiday in the capital of freestyle snowboarding and skiing in the Portes Du Soleil area of France and to test the latest boards at the same time.

The holiday package has been designed by experienced British professional rider Luke Paull and offers self-catering accommodation in a modern apartment in the centre of Morzine, prices from as little as £25 per night, plus expert advice on finding the ultimate snowboard.

Up to eight people can be accommodated and try out a selection of the latest boards from Atomic on the slopes before choosing a board that fits their style. The package also includes a full day’s hosting by a member of the Atomic team around the pistes, plus the use of the Nintendo Wii and walkie-talkies on the mountain.

“Unless you get the chance to try a board on the slopes, it’s very difficult for a rider to make the right choice,” said Russell O’Neill, Sales Manager at Atomic. “So we have worked with Luke to devise the ideal testing opportunity at a very reasonable price in one of the most desirable locations in Europe.”

Luke, who has more than 10 years of experience snowboarding around the world and rides the Atomic Hatchet board, was keen to offer something different to the usual chalet holiday. “As budgets are one of the key factors in deciding where to go on any boarding trip, being able to offer an affordable stay at one of the best ski areas on the planet and using the latest Atomic equipment was really close to my heart,” said Luke.

Details of the facilities available can be found at www.eazyriderz.com or www.morzine-selfcatering.com while for information about the new Atomic snowboards visit www.atomicsnow.com
